Ernest L. (Lou) Nelon

Lou Nelon first joined Village in 1991 and has been a member throughout all three of his tours of duty at Fort Bragg, NC.  He recently retired from the U.S. Army after serving more than 23 years and became the Church Administrator in September 2008. He earned his B.S. Degree from Carson-Newman College in 1985 and earned his M.S. Degree from the National Defense Intelligence College in 1998. 

Lou was born in Asheville, NC.  He and his wife, Cindy (also from Asheville, NC, and the daughter of a Baptist minister) have been married since 1986, and have two sons.
